Lola Amour, Dilaw, Jason Dhakal, and other Warner Music Philippines artists will be performing at the label’s 30th anniversary launch event at Balcony House Makati this December 8.

Joining the three are the label’s newer signees Jireh Lim and Rangel. Tickets for the event are now available, with tickets priced at P600 for the pre-sale, P700 for regular admission, and P800 for walk-ins. Interested attendees can purchase tickets here. As of writing, pre-sale tickets are now sold out.

As part of the lead up to the launch event, numerous artists from the label have been releasing reimagined covers of classic OPM hits. Just last week, Lola Amour released their cover of Kitchie Nadal’s “Huwag Na Huwag Mong Sabihin” (Don’t Tell Me). In November, Dilaw dropped their rendition of Kamikazee’s “Chinelas” featuring Filipino comedian Albert Nicolas under the name AsianCutie.

In an Instagram post by Dilaw promoting the release, the band wrote, “Samahan niyo kaming maghanap ng chinelas kasama ang the one and only poging pogi machong macho kuya Asian Cutie!” (Join us as we find slippers together with the one and only incredibly handsome and muscly Asian Cutie!)

Earlier this year, PLAYERTWO sampled “Someday” by Nina, SB19 member Ken — under his moniker, FELIPreleased a cover of Never The Strangers’ “Moving Closer,” Jason Dhakal dropped his rendition of Sitti’s “Para Sa Akin” (For Me), and more.

The anniversary comes off Warner’s numerous achievements this year, such as eleven wins at the recently-concluded 36th Awit Awards. Dilaw went home with four of the most coveted awards that night, including Record of the Year, Song Of The Year, Best Performance by a Group Recording Artist, and Best Alternative Recording.
