Aegis have announced that SB19 member Ken — performing under the mononym FELIP for his solo project — will be joining the band at their A Christmas Bonus concert this December 20 at The Theatre at Solaire.

In a press statement, one of the concert’s producers shared, “Felip was a unanimous pick because he is from [Zamboanga del Sur], and his music resonates with AEGIS on a personal level. We really are in awe with how he integrates Bisaya in his lyrics, and how he exudes confidence in his performance.”

Joining FELIP on the roster of guest performers are OPM royalty Jose Mari Chan and the Manila String Machine. Tickets are now available via Ticketworld, with Upper Balcony seats being priced at P1,802.50; Lower Balcony seats priced at P3,553.50; Gold seats at P4,892.50; VIP tickets at P6,169.70; and SVIP tickets at P7,261.50. SSVIP tickets, which include a meet and greet session after the concert, have since been sold out.

In other news, FELIP recently released a cover of Never The Strangers’ “Moving Closer” as part of Warner Music Philippines’ 30th anniversary in the country. Other covers released as part of the series include Jason Dhakal’s rendition of Sitti’s “Para Sa Akin” (For Me) and PLAYERTWO’s cover of Nina’s “Someday.”

FELIP also released his debut EP as a solo artist titled COMPLEX earlier this year. One of the songs that uses Bisaya is “MICTEST,” which Aegis references as one of the songs that resonates with them, since a number of their members are Bisaya as well.
