Alamat and Illest Morena are joining the world-renowned K-pop group NewJeans for ‘The Ultimate Fandom Concert’ happening next month.
The beloved P-pop group and the viral hip-hop sensation are just two of the four major musical acts scheduled to perform alongside the “OMG” hitmakers, as actor-musician Kyle Echarri and rapper Nik Makino are also set to appear in the show. The concert takes place this upcoming September 5, 2024 (Thursday) at the Mall of Asia Arena, beginning at 4 PM onwards. Unlike most concerts, tickets for the show will not be made for sale; rather, they will be awarded via the show’s promotional partners. Check this link for more details here.
This upcoming show marks the second time that NewJeans will be performing in the country, following their successful appearance at the Asia Artist Awards 2023 that took place last December at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan. The group also dropped two mini-albums this year, marking their latest comeback in Korea with How Sweet, and their first debut in Japan with the release of Supernatural.
Just recently, both ALAMAT and Illest Morena dropped new music this year, with the latter dropping a total of three singles (“Munchies,” “Sabik,” and “Slow Burn”) within the year’s first quarter. ALAMAT collaborated with The Juans on the single “GUPIT,” and also dropped new versions of their hit track “Dayang” from their debut album, IsaPuso.
