The Juans And Alamat Team Up For “Gupit” – Listen

The Juans and Alamat have joined forces for a brand new song.

On June 14, Filipino pop-rock band The Juans and P-pop group Alamat released their collaboration single entitled “Gupit.” It was first announced last June 4 by both groups ahead of their sold-out, joint show at the Viva Cafe in Cubao, Quezon City later that day. The gig was the launch of The Juans’ monthly show at the aforementioned venue, dubbed Juans A Month or JAM. The shows promise to give the quartet’s fans — The Juanistas — an early taste of new music, a chance to bond with other fans, and more.

Prior to “Gupit,” The Juans released the single “Napagod Na” last April 5, and won Album Of The Year for Liwanag at the 15th Star Awards For Music on April 25. Meanwhile, Alamat released their album IsaPuso last year. It features the fan favorite track “Dayang,” for which the six-member P-pop group recently premiered a music video, and was rearranged in both R&B and Acoustic versions.
