Dilaw are the latest guests on the Billboard Philippines Studios stage.
The charttoppers performed new arrangements of “Uhaw,” “Janice,” “Orasa,” and their currently unreleased track, “Walwal.” Dilaw follow Billboard Philippines cover star Regine Velasquez-Alcasid as the second act to perform on the program.
“Every member of Dilaw has their own personality and style, yet they blend so well together,” shares Billboard Philippines Associate Producer Matthew Ong, as he described what it was like witnessing Dilaw perform in the studio. “What they do with their individuality and musicality really is something special that makes them such a refined group – truly next level performers.”
Studios is a live performance show where invited artists perform reimagined versions of their hit songs. During Velasquez-Alcasid’s episode, she performed solo piano versions of “Araw Gabi,” “Hinahanap Hanap Kita,” and “Dadalhin.”
The other flagship programs of Billboard Philippines’ media channels include Volumes, which is a podcast show that turns up the volume on the stories behind the artists, and Soundwave, the media platform’s show that showcases the trending songs in today’s music industry. Earlier this week, “Raining In Manila” band Lola Amour opened up about balancing day jobs and a music career while Billboard Philippines Discover artist Ena Mori made her Soundwave debut with “RUNAWAY HOLIDAY” off her critically-acclaimed debut album, DON’T BLAME THE WILD ONE!
Episodes of Soundwave are uploaded on TikTok every Monday. Episodes of Volumes are uploaded on Spotify every Wednesday, while episodes of Studios premiere on YouTube every second and last Friday of the month.
