It’s always a sunny and warm feeling when listening to Ysanygo.
The genre-fluid pair has just announced the release of their upcoming single, titled “Sunny With You”, which will be released via Underdog Records. This marks the sibling duo’s first collaboration with an international act, with Thai R&B duo Purplecat set to make a special guest feature on the forthcoming track, with a scheduled drop date of this May 3, 2024 (Friday).
The sibling duo first released a teaser of the track on their official social media platforms last April 19, posting a ‘save the date’ heads-up for their followers teasing new material on the way. “Sunny When I’m With You” marks their first single following the release of their collaboration with Paolo Sandejas (“Sunday Morning“), as well as their self-titled EP, which dropped on all streaming and digital platforms last October 2023.
Just recently, Ysanygo was announced as part of Spotify RADAR’s 2024 lineup –– sharing the class with some of the OPM scene’s most promising artists like BINI, Hev Abi, Maki, Jason Dhakal, Denise Julia, Illest Morena, Dwta, Cup of Joe, and Dionela. The duo also announced their forthcoming appearance as part of Chang Cold Brew Cool Club’s ‘Spicy on the Beach 2’ Festival in Rayong, Thailand, where they will be performing alongside Thai acts like Purplecat, 4EVE, Lipta, ModernDog, No One Else, Thisismvl, Pok Mindset, NAP A LEAN, Musketeers, and more on May 18, 2024.
