After winning Album Of The Year for her 2022 record Don’t Blame The Wild One at the 2023 Awit Awards last November, indie artist Ena Mori adds another accolade to her list of achievements as she is honored as this year’s Rule Breaker at the first Billboard Philippines Women In Music event held on March 22 at the Samsung Hall, SM Aura in Taguig City.

The award was presented to her by friend and fellow award-winning indie artist Zild, who introduced Ena Mori by saying, “I am very proud to present this award to a fellow musician who constantly seeks to improve and innovate her craft through the exploration of cultures and sounds and the breaking of boundaries.”

Other honorees at the inaugural Billboard Philippines Women in Music event include BINI for Rising Star, Moira Dela Torre for Hitmaker, Pilita Corrales for Icon, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid for Powerhouse, and recent Billboard Women In Music Global Force honoree Sarah Geronimo for Woman of the Year.

Ena Mori recently released a new single, “Heartache Generation,” along with a revolutionary music video shot with smart glasses.
