mrld is making her way up the Billboard Philippines charts with her single “Sandali.”

Based on this week’s chart data, the O/C Records‘ rising star’s latest track is the biggest jumper on the Top Philippine Songs chart (dated July 12, 2024), reaching a new peak position at No. 18. This marks a stark difference from the track’s status last week — it did not appear on the Top 25 rankings of the Philippine Songs chart at all, yet it ranked on the Hot 100 chart at No. 50.

Even on this week’s Hot 100 charts, “Sandali” ascended to the No. 29 position — marking a significant jump of 21 positions higher, which makes it one of the greatest gainers on this week’s Hot 100 rankings. mrld’s entry on the Top Philippine Songs chart demoted several other tracks, including O SIDE MAFIA, BRGR, and Al James’ collaboration “Kunan Mong Pic,” UDD‘s “Tadhana,” and Adie & Janine Berdin‘s “Mahika,” among others.

Some of the other greatest gainers from this week’s chart data are from the Hot 100, like Realest Cram and CK YG’s “Wag Na,” which went up 16 spots to clinch the No. 20 position, while Tinashe’s viral hit “Nasty” ascended 14 spots to reach No. 24. Further significant jumps on the Hot 100’s lower half include Dionela and Jay R‘s soulful collaboration “Sining,” which went up 25 spots to fall at the No. 49 spot, alongside One Direction’s 2015 single from FOUR, “Night Changes,” that now holds the No. 73 position in comparison to its placement at No. 99 last week.

Should the success of mrld continue to grow over the rest of the week, there’s a strong chance that we’ll be able to see “Sandali” enter the Top 10 of both the Hot 100 and Top Philippine Songs charts. Be the first to know if she’ll be able to accomplish such a feat by staying tuned for next week’s chart rankings, to be updated next Wednesday here.
