P-Pop boy group Press Hit Play announced that they have been signed under Sony Music Philippines.

On X, the group shared, “It’s a brand new era. We are pleased to announce that Press Hit Play has officially signed with Sony Music Philippines! Kindly await our forthcoming releases with anticipation!”

Press Hit Play were formed by talent agency Superb Us Entertainment in 2021. Currently, the agency has no other artists under their roster. On Facebook, the company described itself as a “young multi-entertainment company” founded by Managing Director Cheryl and Chester Trinidad. Superb Us Entertainment also supported the venture, writing, “This is just the beginning, and there is still so much more in store for you!
Thanks for the warm welcome, Sony Music Philippines, and congratulations to our beloved boys from Press Hit Play!”

In other industry news, Sony Music Philippines recently announced their partnership with Ely Buendia-led label Offshore Music. Offshore Music and Sony Music Philippines debuted 10 new artists in their roster, which includes city-pop band ALYSON, Baguio-based math rock group Amateurish, young alt-rock artist Ligaya Escueta, and more.

Press Hit Play are composed of members CHRLS, JP, SEV, and YUUKI, who are also listed as solo talents under Superb Us Entertainment. They are most known for their songs, “Tell Me,” “Forever Young,” and “Wala Na Ba?” Earlier in October, the group announced their collaboration with K-Pop group DUSTIN for their latest single, “BRAND NEW.” This is their first collaboration as a boy group.
