With this week’s chart data, it doesn’t seem like Maki is letting go of the reigns on the No. 1 spot on Billboard PhilippinesHot 100.

Following his history-making feat as the first chart-topper to both the Hot 100 and Top Philippine Songs charts, the certified hitmaker and his track “Dilaw” still hold the top spot on Billboard Philippines‘ charts, dated July 12, 2024. The track’s dominance at the peak of the charts further exemplifies its longstanding resonance with the Filipino audience, despite its release close to two months ago. Should Maki’s “Dilaw” continue to stay in such a high-ranking position, it’s undeniably expected to become certified as one of the biggest local releases of the year.

Still holding the No. 2 spot is the nation’s girl group BINI, whose catchy P-pop earworm “Salamin, Salamin” maintains the same position as last week’s data. Though the lead single off their Talaarawan EP continues to do well, the viral summer hit “Pantropiko” takes one step down from its No. 4 position last week to No. 5 this week. Nevertheless, the BINI fever on the charts is still in full force, given that “Karera” and “Lagi” still retain the same spots within the chart’s Top 10 rankings at No. 7 and No. 9 respectively.

On the international side of things, Sabrina Carpenter continues her rule at No. 3 for the Jack Antonoff-produced “Please, Please, Please” and at No. 5 for “Espresso”. Billie Eilish‘s “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” moves up one slot to claim BINI’s No. 4 position, marking the only track from last week’s charts to ascend on this week’s rankings.

A new addition to this week’s Top 10 is LISA‘s comeback single (and first release under her label LLOUD in partnership with RCA Records) “Rockstar” –– which clinches the No. 8 spot in its debut on the Hot 100 Charts. With credit to an astounding music video and an active marketing campaign for the track, the BLACKPINK member’s solo endeavors seem to be paying off, proving how resonant her music stands on this side of the world.

Rounding up this week’s Top 10 on the Hot 100 is TJ Monterde’s “Palagi” –– which continues to hold the line at the No. 10 position, solidifying its strong grasp on Filipino listeners since its release over one year ago.

Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country, based on streaming data (both audio and video) collected by data provider Luminate. The chart encompasses tracks by both Filipino and international acts. The Hot 100 is one of Billboard Philippines‘ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart. Both charts will be updated weekly every Wednesday.
