The Philippine audience longs for the “Touch” of KATSEYE — as exemplified by the track’s debut on the Billboard Philippines‘ Hot 100.
The catchy hit single makes its way straight into the No. 83 position, following the growing popularity of the track’s viral dance challenges that have been taking over TikTok and Instagram since its release. Several local and international acts have already participated in the challenge, with KATSEYE inviting K-pop acts like ENHYPEN and BOYNEXTDOOR to join in, while P-pop phenomenons BINI and influencer Niana Guerrero have also demonstrated their own takes on the dance as well.
Beyond the entry of KATSEYE’s “Touch” on the Philippine Hot 100, other notable debuts on this week’s Hot 100 chart update include NIKI’s “Tsunami,” Taylor Swift and Shawn Mendes’ remix to “Lover,” as well as Hanumankind and Kalmi’s “Big Dawgs.” At the peak of the Hot 100 still lies Dionela and Jay R’s “Sining,” with Maki’s “Dilaw,” Billie Eilish‘s “BIRDS OF A FEATHER,” Sabrina Carpenter‘s “Please, Please, Please, and BINI‘s string of hits that include “Salamin, Salamin,” “Cherry On Top” and “Pantropiko,” and Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!” which makes its long-awaited entry in the Top 10.
The Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country, based on streaming data (both audio and video) collected by data provider Luminate. The chart encompasses tracks by both Filipino and international acts. The Hot 100 is one of Billboard Philippines‘ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart. Both charts will be updated weekly every Wednesday.
