Get ready for the most wet music festival next year.

South Korea’s popular Waterbomb Festival is finally making its way to Philippine shores — with the festival organizers announcing its scheduled dates of February 8 (Saturday) and 9 (Sunday), 2025. The highly anticipated water-themed music festival is set to take place at Metrowalk Ortigas in Manila, though no further details regarding the festival’s lineup, ticket prices, and whatnot have been revealed to the public as of now.

Waterbomb Manila was first teased as early as June 2024, when its official website and social media accounts were launched around the time. Upon their launch, several Filipino fans were quick to assume that the festival was set to take place within the last two quarters of 2024 — up until it was confirmed by the organizers themselves that Waterbomb Manila will officially take place in 2025.

This year’s Waterbomb Festival in South Korea took place in Seoul, Jeju, Incheon, and Busan, and featured several high-profile K-pop acts as part of their lineup, including TWICE’s Nayeon. Hwasa, Taemin, ZICO, Jay Park, Sunmi, Chung Ha, KISS OF LIFE, and a whole lot more. It was also during this year’s festivities wherein SBTown’s P-pop acts, PLUUS and YGIG, made OPM history as the first two Filipino acts to perform at the famed music festival.
