SHINee’s Taemin has just released his latest mini-album, titled ETERNAL.
The newly released record meshes the genres of dance, boom bap, trap, drill, electronic pop, hip-hop, and R&B within its seven tracks — making for an eclectic mix of genres that still stay true to Taemin’s sound. As a demonstration of his musical versatility and artistic capabilities, it also marks a fitting follow-up to his previous extended plays and his work with SHINee. To accompany the record’s release, Taemin also shared a music video to the track “Sexy In The Air,” which you can view below:
ETERNAL marks Taemin’s first release under BPM Entertainment, following the conclusion of his contract with SM Entertainment with the release of last year’s Guilty – The 4th Mini Album.
The beloved K-pop soloist is also scheduled to visit Manila later this November 2024 as part of his ‘Ethereal Gaze’ World Tour, with further details expected to be shared regarding the show in the near future. He previously performed in the Philippines last October 2023 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, wherein he headlined OctoArts Entertainment’s K-Magic Live concert alongside Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon and GOT7’s Yugyeom.
It marked his first show as a solo artist here in the Philippines, as he had previously enlisted in the mandatory military service in South Korea up until 2023.
