Olivia Rodrigo has just landed on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 charts (dated September 28, 2024).
Marking her debut on the charts, the Filipino-American singer-songwriter currently has three songs standing within the Philippine Hot 100 –– with “Vampire” ranking at No. 75, “traitor” at No. 76, and “Deja Vu” at No. 97. The sudden prevalence and rise of Olivia Rodrigo’s tracks with Philippine audiences coincides with her forthcoming arrival for her first-ever concert in the country. Given the massive amount of people who queued online for tickets to the show (reportedly amounting to a total of more than 750,000 people in line), it’s undeniable that Olivia Rodrigo’s music is continuing to resonate with a wider audience, and will further do so as the show date comes closer.
Aside from Rodrigo’s chart-topping tracks, other new entries within the Philippine Hot 100 include The Weeknd’s latest single “Dancing In The Flames,” Addison Rae’s “Diet Pepsi,” and Daniel Caesar & Kali Uchis’ collaboration “Get You.” Other notable changes on the chart include the jump of Robledo Timido’s “Gusto Ko Sakin Ka Lang” –– which jumped up nine spots to No. 15 and Maki’s “Namumula” which climbed from No. 42 last week to a new peak position of No. 18 on this week’s rankings.
At the summit of the Philippine Hot 100 is Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With A Smile” as it spends a second week at the No. 1 spot, while Dionela and Jay R‘s “Sining,” comes in No. 2, and TJ Monterde‘s “Palagi” places itself at a solid spot at No. 3 on the chart.
Following close by is Billie Eilish‘s “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” at No. 4, Maki‘s “Dilaw” at No. 5, and Sabrina Carpenter — who occupies the No. 6, 7, 8, and 9 spots with her quartet of singles “Taste,” “Please, Please, Please,” “Bed Chem,” and “Espresso.” Closing out the Top 10 of the chart is Chappell Roan with “Good Luck, Babe!,” which has stayed on the Philippine Hot 100 for a total of fourteen weeks.
The Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country, based on streaming data (both audio and video) collected by data provider Luminate. The chart encompasses tracks by both Filipino and international acts. The Hot 100 is one of Billboard Philippines‘ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart. Both charts will be updated weekly every Wednesday.
