Grammy-winning rapper-singer Anderson .Paak and Grammy-nominated rapper Cordae reunite for their new single “A Good Day,” released through APESHIT + EMPIRE / Hi Level + Mass Appeal.

The track serves as the first taste of their upcoming collaborative album, Heavy Is the Crown, which is set to arrive on October 23, 2026. It sees .Paak return to his rap roots, teaming up with Cordae over an infectious production as the two trade bars over a drum-driven groove.

Additionally, it echoes the warmth of Bill Withers’ classic “Lovely Day,” while incorporating the signature ad-libs of the late hip-hop icon Fatman Scoop.
