It’s nearing “Game Time” for the 2026 FIFA World Cup as Tyla and Future join forces for the latest anthem tied to the upcoming tournament.
On May 29, 2026 at 12 AM PHT, the latest single from the official FIFA World Cup 2026™ album officially dropped, marking the seventh song released from the project so far. The new track sees South African pop star Tyla and American rapper Future collaborating for the first time.
Produced by Cirkut, “Game Time” blends Tyla’s smooth R&B-leaning vocals against Future’s signature trap sound. Throughout the track, the Atlanta-born rapper delivers the lyrics, “Workin’ hard through the late nights / Twenty seconds ’til game time,” while Tyla surprises with a rap verse that references her upcoming album with the line, “I’m A*POP star, yeah, this is platinum rocks.”
The release follows Shakira and Burna Boy’s official FIFA World Cup anthem “Dai Dai,” which dropped last May 14, 2026 and marked Shakira’s return to the tournament more than a decade after “Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)” served as the official anthem for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
As part of the official FIFA World Cup 2026™ album, “Game Time” joins the previously released tracks including “Lighter,” “Por Ella,” “Echo,” and “Illuminate.” The project also previously saw LISA, Anitta, and Rema unite for the transglobal anthem “Goals” released on May 21, 2026.
Beyond the new single, Tyla is also set to perform during the FIFA World Cup opening ceremonies across North America. The Grammy-winning singer will first take the stage in Mexico City on June 11, 2026, before joining a star-studded lineup in Los Angeles the following day alongside “Game Time” collaborator Future, LISA, Anitta, Rema, and Katy Perry.
