Fresh off the release of a new single, Tyla has announced the release of her highly anticipated second album, set to be titled A*POP*.
The Amapiano pop sensation broke the news on her official social media accounts, sharing the album’s title, cover artwork, a teaser video, and details of its tracklist. The album is scheduled for a worldwide release date of July 24, 2026, and will feature a total of fourteen tracks, including “IS IT,” the chart-topping hit “CHANEL,” as well as her latest collaboration with Zara Larsson, titled “SHE DID IT AGAIN.“

A*POP* marks Tyla’s highly anticipated follow-up to her eponymous debut album, which spawned a series of hit singles, including “Push 2 Start,” “Truth or Dare,” “Art,” and the chart-breaking track, “Water.” The latter hit a peak position of No. 4 on the Philippines Hot 100 chart, while her latest commercial hit, “Chanel” had reached an impressive peak position of No. 8 on the chart.
Most recently, Tyla performed in the Philippines for her ‘We Wanna Party World Tour’, which took place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City last December 2025. In an exclusive interview with Billboard Philippines, the South-African pop sensation opened up about her excitement at meeting Filipino fans, and her We Wanna Party EP. “I think everyone wants to dance and have fun and let loose, and you know, I think music is just that thing that takes everyone to that place. So, me being from South Africa, music is a huge part of our culture, and it’s very spiritual, and it really is healing. So, I feel like everyone in the world wants to dance,” she mentioned.
It was also announced that Tyla is set to join the star-studded lineup of Zara Larsson’s deluxe remix version of her Midnight Sun record, set to be titled Girls Trip. In addition to Tyla’s involvement, the record is also set to feature artists like PinkPantheress, Kehlani, JT, Shakira, Madison Beer, Robyn, and a whole lot more.
