UNIS Perform BINI’s ‘Pantropiko’ On World Wide Cover
The members of UNIS also performed songs by Beyoncé, Karol G, and more.

In an episode of the 1theK Originals show, World Wide Cover, the newly debuted global pop group performed a medley of songs sang by some of the most notable songs across the world. Members Gehlee, Elisia, and Seowon performed BINI‘s “Pantropiko”, while the rest of the girl group performed tracks by Latin act Karol G, icon Beyoncé, Japanese singer noa, and virtual K-popK-PopA genre of South Korean popular music known for polished production, intricate choreography, and elaborate visuals, built around trainee systems and global fandoms. K-pop has a huge following in theGo to K-Pop Glossary group PLAVE.
Following its release in November 2023, “Pantropiko” has risen to be one of BINI’s most popular tracks, making its rounds on social media and sparking multiple dance trends. The track comes as part of their recently released EPEPShort for extended play, a collection of songs longer than a single but shorter than a full album, typically containing three to six tracks. Artists use EPs to introduce theirGo to EP Glossary, Talaawaran which also feature songs like “Salamin Salamin” and “Karera”.
UNIS recently made their highly anticipated debut last March with their mini-album, WE UNIS. The girl group — which comprises Elisia, Yunha, Nana, Gehlee, Seowon, Yoona, Kotoko, and Hyeonju — was put together during the survival competition show, Universe Ticket which aimed to put together a diverse lineup of members.
