Following the smashing success of their PAGTATAG! World Tour, SB19 has announced one final treat to commemorate this landmark era of their career with the release of a special documentary film.

Aptly titled as the PAGTATAG! Documentary Film, the highly anticipated project is helmed by renowned director Jed Regala and is produced by 1Z Entertainment and First Light Studios. The first teaser of the film showcases clips and snippets of the beloved group behind the scenes, seeing them travel across different venues around the globe, talking about the entire experience (both good and bad) of bringing this show to life.

On July 12, a second teaser for the film was released, showcasing a clip of the quintet and their team getting ready and hyping themselves up during pre-show ritual. “Tagged as P-POP Kings, SB19 confronts a year of challenges as they move forward to a new era of music, career, and emancipation. This is SB19’s PAGTATAG! era,” the new teaser’s description stated.

Regala –– who is also directing the upcoming documentary on Gary Valenciano’s PURE ENERGY: One Last Time concert –– places an emphasis on the group’s story of perseverance, allowing them to overcome internal and external challenges that came their way (as 2023 tested the limits and strengths of SB19 and their fans  — in more ways than one). Scheduled to be released this August 28 in cinemas, there’s no doubt with regards to just how many members of the A’TIN are bound to tune in to the highly-anticipated film.

Just the other night, SB19 concluded their PAGTATAG! Tour with a two-night show at the Araneta Coliseum, which Billboard Philippines described as a fitting conclusion to this era of their career, marked by the same power and strength that has stayed with them since the beginning of this chapter in their lives.

In addition to that, the group also dropped a new collaboration track with Ian Asher and Terry Zhong, titled “Moonlight“, which features an entirely new sound (and perhaps teases a new direction) for where the group may be headed.

As we anticipate what comes next beyond this era for the beloved group, feel free to revisit their PAGTATAG! extended-play below in it’s full glory:
