KATSEYE have just dropped a new track for the upcoming Netflix animated series, Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld.
Titled “Flame,” the newly released single works as an empowering anthem that strongly highlights their musical versatility — given its stark contrast from their hits like “Debut” and “Touch.” With its darker pop tone, the girl group’s powerful multilingual chants surrounding its chorus leave a hard-hitting impression that’s sure to stand out in their discography.
Produced and written by Brian H. Kim, the track also serves as one of the first teasers of the soundtrack to the forthcoming animated show. Aside from KATSEYE, other artists set to release tracks for Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld‘s compilation soundtrack include eaJ, Yaeji, Jessi, Thuy, Baer, Rei Brown, Kenton Chen, Alice Longyu Gao, Rekstizzy, Sugs, Jonah Wolf, and Notiz Young
Just recently, KATSEYE dropped a remix to their chart-breaking single “Touch,” which featured TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s Yeonjun. The track currently ranks within the Top 20 of the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart, positioning itself at No. 16 as it spends its thirteenth week on the chart. In September, the group visited the Philippines for the first time as part of their promotional tour across Asia, wherein they performed at Market Market in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig for a jam-packed indoor concert. During their visit, they also held a special press conference in which they talked to select media outlets about their stay in the country, their shared dreams, and what lies ahead for their music in the future.
