The rising girl group shared the news on their official social media platforms, wherein they first clued their followers in on the forthcoming remixRemixA new version of an existing song created by altering or reworking its elements, such as tempo, key, instrumentation, or vocals. Remixes can introduce songs to new audiences and genres,Go to Remix Glossary with a renowned K-pop icon. With their EYEKONS sharing their guesses in the comments, the group then officially announced that it would be Yeonjun of TXT who would be joining them on the track. The newly shared cover art to the track takes a unique spin on the original artwork, including porcelain dolls representing each member of the group act and a new doll representing the TXT soloist in the center.
In a statement posted to WeVerse, KATSEYE shared that Yeonjun wrote his very own verseVerseA section of a song that advances its story or message, typically sharing the same melody with different lyrics each time. Verses set up the emotional and narrative context forGo to Verse Glossary for his part of the track. “His lyrics add a unique touch to the overall feel of the track. We hope you enjoy this special remake,” the group mentioned.

“Touch” is just one of the five tracks on KATSEYE’s debut extended-play, titled SIS (Soft Is Strong). In an exclusive interview with Billboard Philippines, the multinational hitmakers shared that the whole concept and the title of the EPEPShort for extended play, a collection of songs longer than a single but shorter than a full album, typically containing three to six tracks. Artists use EPs to introduce theirGo to EP Glossary reflect their identity as female musicians on the scene. “Having the theme ‘Soft is Strong’ really shows our duality – both as artists and as a group. Because strangely enough, we realized that to even be vulnerable takes a pretty big amount of strength to do so,” leader Sophia Laforteza mentioned.
Just recently, the group visited the Philippines for the first time as part of their promotional tour across Asia –– wherein they performed at Market Market in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig for a jam-packed indoor concert. During their visit, they also held a special press conference in which they talked to select media outlets about their stay in the country, their shared dreams, and what lies ahead for their music in the future.
