The Awit Awards have announced the list of performers for the 36th Awit Awards, happening this November 9 (Thursday) at 7PM.
Among the performers are folk-pop band Ben&Ben, who are currently nominated for Song of the Year for “The. Ones We Once Loved” and “Paninindigan Kita” as well as Best Performance by a Group Recording Artist for “Paninindigan Kita.”
Moira dela Torre will also be performing during the event. She is nominated for Best Performance by a Female Recording Artist for “Kumpas.” P-Pop group and Album of the Year nominees ALAMAT are also slated to perform.
Also performing at the event are “Uhaw (Tayong Lahat)” band Dilaw are also nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Performance by a Group Recording Artist.
Other performers who are also nominated for the different awards are Kenaniah (Best Performance by a Male Recording Artist), Ace Banzuelo (Best Performance by a Male Recording Artist), Side A (Best Performance by a Group Recording Artist), and Janine Berdin (Best Performance by a Female Recording Artist).
In other news, composer and hitmaker Jonathan “Mr. Music” Manalo continues to be the most-nominated artist at the Awit Awards for the fifth time. He has received nominations across 22 categories this year. In the past, he received 16 nods in 2016, 21 nods in 2018, 22 nods in 2019, and 26 nods in 2020.
The Awit Awards will be livestreamed on the awards ceremony’s Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
