In her latest single, “Tahan Na,” The Ransom Collective’s Jerms is at her most vulnerable yet.

Last April 16, 2025, Jermaine “Jerms” Choa Peck released “Tahan Na,” her latest single leading up to the premiere of her solo debut EP. A source of comfort, the song stands as a gentle yet powerful reminder that it’s okay to feel lost, to sit with discomfort, and to breathe through life’s most challenging waves.

In an official press release, the artist opened up about the situation behind the song’s debut: “I hadn’t originally planned to release this as my next single before the EP, but with everything happening in my life — especially my father’s recent passing — it felt like I needed to share this song. It’s a reminder, both to myself and to others, that it’s okay not to be okay, and to keep breathing through it all.”

“Tahan Na” follows her first pre-release single, “Alay sa Gabay,” that was premiered last November 22. These singles have been leading up to her solo debut EP, which is set for release this May 15, 2025.
