ITZY, Rico Blanco, Sarah Geronimo, And More To Join BGC’s 2024 New Year’s Eve Countdown Event
Notably, this will mark ITZY’s first time performing in Manila with all five members since their ‘Checkmate’ concert last January 2023.

Bonifacio Global City is ringing in the new year with star-studded show featuring ITZY and more.
On November 25, Bonifacio Global City or BGC — a major business and recreational district located in Metro Manila’s Taguig City — announced that they are set to hold a special New Year’s countdown event this December 31st, promising an “even bigger [and] more iconic celebration” this year. In the next few days, they then started teasing the special lineup of performers for the show.
On December 5, it was revealed that K-pop girl group ITZY are set to join the festivities, making their return to the Philippines following their Manila concert last August 3 for their ‘Born To Be’ world tour. Notably, the New Year’s Eve event will also mark their first time performing to Manila with all five members since their January 2023 concert for their ‘Checkmate’ world tour. This was due to member Lia sitting out their concert last August following her return from a nearly year-long hiatus due to health concerns.
Joining ITZY for this special event are OPM rock icon Rico Blanco, Billboard Philippines Woman of The Year honoree Sarah Geronimo, and “ERE” hitmaker juan karlos.
It is set to happen on 5th Avenue in Bonifacio Global City on December 31, from 7:00 PM onwards. General Admission is completely free on a first come, first serve basis, with details on limited VIP Standing access set to be announced soon. Watch this space for updates.
Last year, Bonifacio Global City’s New Year’s countdown event also featured a stacked lineup, including K-pop girl group Red Velvet‘s Irene, Seulgi, and Wendy alongside Filipino artists Ely Buendia, KZ Tandingan, Zack Tabudlo, and Adie.
