Red Velvet‘s powerhouse vocalist Wendy has just announced her first solo comeback, with the upcoming release of her second solo mini-album, titled “Wish You Hell”.

In a dazzling announcement on X (formerly Twitter), the South Korean sensation unveiled the plans for her highly anticipated solo return, currently slated for March 12, 2024, at 6 PM (KST). The K-pop idol not only disclosed the album’s title and release date but also treated fans to a sneak peek by unveiling the first teaser image. In the captivating teaser image released, Wendy takes us into a world of intrigue with a visually striking scene, featuring an arrangement of seats on a zigzagged floor in a pristine white room, with a heart meticulously sketched on a chalkboard, as if calculated on a graph –– further intensifying the mystery that shrouds the upcoming album.

This forthcoming release marks Wendy’s second venture into her solo career and follows three years after her groundbreaking solo debut with Like Water in 2021. Just recently, Red Velvet put out their third full-length album, What A Chill Kill, which was released to both critical and commercial acclaim last November 16, 2023.
