IIICCCYYY is back with her first single of 2025.

On February 7, 2025 (Friday), the Cebu-hailing indie pop soloist released a new track entitled “Pretty Pretty.” The upbeat, bubblegum J-pop-inspired track was produced by Mandaue Nights’ Karl Lucente, with mixing and mastering done by PLAYERTWO’s Luke April. According to IIICCCYYY in a press statement, the track is about “rediscovering your self-worth and celebrating relationships that make you feel whole.”

“I wanted to encapsulate the feeling of going out with people you love and just having fun,” she shares. “Personally, this song is a love letter to all my friends who showed me what true love really means.”

She further reveals that the new single has been in the works for some time now, sharing how “it was something [Karl Lucente] and [her] had a common love for and something that [they’ve] always wanted to do.” She also shares how “liberating” it felt “to to be a bit unserious and even embrace a little bit of cringe” with the track, noting how “it matches the vibe of the song anyway so it only felt right to really lean into that.”

“Pretty Pretty” is IIICCCYYY’s third single overall, serving as the follow-up to “In My Dreams,” which was released last June 7, 2024.

IIICCCYYY is Elisha Ang of alt-pop duo Sepia Times. Her solo debut single “Habit” was included in Billboard Philippines’ Best Songs Of 2024 mid-year round-up. We described the song as “catchy, cute, and a new brand of bubblegum pop that the widespread music community has yet to hear.”
