SB19 member Ken — who performs solo using his mononym, FELIP — has taken the main stage on Billboard Philippines Studios.

The flagship program of Billboard Philippines is a live performance series that showcases the biggest artists in the Philippines with reimagined versions of their biggest hits. In this episode, FELIP delivers a stellar performance of his songs “CRIMINAL,” “DRINKSMOKE,” and his cover of Never The Strangers’ “Moving Closer.” He follows the performance of the Filipino King of R&B Jay R on the show.

”DRINKSMOKE” and “CRIMINAL” are off his debut solo EP, COMPLEX. “CRIMINAL” was named as one of Billboard Philippines’ Top 25 Songs of 2023, with Jenny Fernandez writing, “While FELIP’s debut EP has so many gems, ‘CRIMINAL’ is an undeniable crowd favorite. The dark, moody track showcases the rapper’s vocal range and the versatility of his musicality; while lyrically, he dives deep into the complexities of being human in both English and Bisaya. The song is rich and layered, with FELIP not wasting even a single second to deliver the very purpose of the song. If there’s one song from COMPLEX I could listen to again for the first time, it’d definitely be ‘CRIMINAL.’”

In other news, FELIP has been teaming up with Warner Music Philippines labelmates and Davao-based quintet PLAYERTWO, releasing twin singles “FLYYY” and “Pagdali” (Hurry Up). His cover of “Moving Closer” was released as part of Warner Music Philippines’ 30th anniversary in the country. On the other hand, PLAYERTWO released their own rendition of Nina’s “Someday.”
