Guapdad 4000 is starring in an upcoming horror movie.

On May 10, the “Fearless” rapper announced through his social media that he is set to star in the upcoming Universal Pictures film Him (working title: GOAT). “Guess the cat’s out the bag, because I hopped in it,” he proclaimed. Helmed by director Justin Tipping — whom the rapper made sure to proudly note was also of Filipino descent like him — it is set to be his major motion picture debut.

Produced by renowned filmmaker, actor, and comedian Jordan Peele (Get Out, Us, and Nope) and his production company Monkeypaw Productions, the film is a football-centered psychological horror exploring the story of a veteran quarterback (played by Marlon Wayans) and his training of a young, up-and-coming football player (played by Tyriq Withers). In addition to them and Guapdad 4000, other stars of the upcoming film include fellow rapper Tierra Whack as well as Julia Fox, Tim Heidecker, and Jim Jefferies.

As a rapper, Guapdad 4000 was last in the Philippines as part of the lineup for 88rising’s first Manila iteration of Head In The Clouds in 2022. He shared the stage with the likes of NIKI, BIBI, Jackson Wang, and more.

Him is slated to be released in theaters next year, September 19, 2025.
