BINI just got their second Billboard No.1.

On June 4, for the week of June 8, it was revealed that P-pop group BINI have successfully topped Billboard‘s Philippines Songs chart once again, this time with their track “Salamin, Salamin”. It had been on the charts for 8 weeks, peaking weekly at no. 2 before ultimately switching spots with BINI’s viral summer hit “Pantropiko” just this week. Both tracks are from their first EP Talaarawan, released last March.

Alongside these tracks, two other songs from the Nation’s Girl Group are also on the chart. Namely, “Karera” currently at no. 13 and “Lagi” currently sitting at no. 20.

Last April 23, for the week of April 27, BINI became the first P-pop group to top Billboard‘s Philippines Songs chart last with “Pantropiko”. Before this, they previously achieved becoming the most streamed OPM female artist on Spotify for the first time last April 1. Last March, they also became the first honorees of the Billboard Philippines Women In Music “Rising Star” Award.

In other news, the fast-rising pop unit are set to commemorate their third anniversary this June with fans ‘National BINI Day’. They also recently just announced their first North America tour this 2024, with dates in Canada and the USA. Prior to this, Earlier this year, also took international stages in Singapore for Music Matters Live and in China with fellow P-pop girl group G22 for reality TV show Show It All.

Meanwhile, the 8 Rising Stars are set to hold their 3-day, sold-out, first ever solo concert BINIVERSE this coming June 28-30 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
