Megan Thee Stallion and RM never play – that’s exactly how their collaboration made it onto the Billboard Philippines‘ Hot 100.
“Neva Play” originally released in September 6, has made its way into the No. 61 spot of the Hot 100 (dated September 21, 2024). The chart-toppers electric and infectious beats have spread its way across the Internet and social media platforms, landing its status as a viral smash hit. The track is an anthem of confidence, showcasing Megan Thee Stallion‘s rapid hit-for-hit bars, and a unique low-tone rap rarely heard from BTS Leader RM.
In tandem with this new entry is another fresh face on the Hot 100, Bruno Mars’ classic “Talking to the Moon” at the No. 97 spot. The pop funk legend’s dominance over the chart has reached new heights as well, as his collaboration with Lady Gaga on “Die With A Smile” has taken over the coveted No. 1 spot. Following closely behind are local favorites, “Sining” by Dionela at No.2 and “Palagi” by TJ Monterde at No. 3. From there, the Top 10 remains mostly unchanged, with “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” by Billie Eilish at No. 4, “Dilaw” by Maki at No. 5, and Sabrina Carpenter’s “Please, Please, Please”, “Taste”, and “Espresso” take up No. 6 to 8 respectively. Moving up a position is Carpenter’s viral hit “Bed Chem” at No. 9, and closing the Top 10 is Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!”
The Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country, based on streaming data (both audio and video) collected by data provider Luminate.
