“luther” has hit the Billboard Philippines chart like that fire (fah-fah).
Kendrick Lamar’s ethereal collaborative track with SZA has climbed its way to the No. 1 spot of the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 (dated December 21, 2024). A blazing feature from the West Coast Rapper’s surprise feature, GNX, the song has made a steady ascent, entering the Chart at No. 7 last December 7 and reaching No. 3 last week. As proof of the smash hit’s fierce popularity and undeniable catchiness, “luther” has now become a resident Philippine chart-topper.
Another feature from GNX, “squabble up,” previously entered the Hot 100 at No. 80 last December 4, and placed at No. 92 last week.
SZA and Kendrick Lamar are set to embark on a highly-anticipated Grand National Tour from April to June 2025, bringing their live show to 19 different stadiums across the United States. Additionally, the contemporary R&B star is scheduled to release a deluxe version of her critically-acclaimed sophomore album, SOS, this Friday.
The Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country, based on streaming data (both audio and video) collected by data provider Luminate. The chart encompasses tracks by both Filipino and international acts. The Hot 100 is one of Billboard Philippines‘ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart. Both charts will be updated weekly every Wednesday.
