Regine Velasquez-Alcasid brings her 40th anniversary celebration in the music industry to the big screen with the SONGBIRD documentary set for a theatrical release in 2027.

Produced by iMusic Entertainment, in partnership with GOAT Creative Studios, the documentary follows Asia’s Songbird and OPM icon’s journey as she gears up for her two-night anniversary ‘FINALE’ concert, her final major solo show.

The documentary, written and directed by Emmy Award-winning producer Michael Carandang, also captures her looking back at her legacy and career as one of OPM’s legendary voices, reflecting on the triumphs and sacrifices that shaped who she is today.

The announcement of the documentary follows the ticket sales of the two-night concert, with the first night selling out in just 45 minutes, while the free second show received over 50,000 registrations from fans.

The shows will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on October 17 and 18, with Paolo Valenciano directing and Raul Mitra musically directing.
