Ready to immerse yourselves in ‘Radical Optimism’?
This weekend, Filipino fans have the chance to experience Dua Lipa‘s latest album in an entirely new way with an interactive ‘Radical Optimism’ Pop-Up.
From May 17 to May 19, fans eager for more of Lipa’s tropical-club vibes can immerse themselves in the experience from 10 AM to 9 PM at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City. With themed photo booths, personalized memorabilia, and more surprises in store at the event, anyone can find themselves enjoying the fun and games as they dance the night (and day) away in Ayala and Warner Music Philippines‘ special exhibit.
Lipa’s Radical Optimism was just released to critical and commercial acclaim, breaking records as the #1 Album on the UK Charts (and her first number one debut) with the best opening week for a British female artist since Adele’s 30. In the Billboard charts, the album claimed the #2 spot on the Billboard 200 –– consisting of 51,500 pure album sales also marking her highest charting album in the United States.
As an evolution from 2020’s Future Nostalgia, Radical Optimism establishes its vibrant energy with tracks such as the addictive “End Of An Era,” the high-energy “Training Season,” and the euphoric, club-ready “Houdini.” The record features eleven tracks designed to make listeners want to dance and lose themselves in the music –– just as it was intended by Lipa as she wrote and recorded the project while embarking on a journey of self-discovery, capturing the joy and clarity that come from overcoming difficult situations.
In other news, Lipa has also announced her first run of tour dates in support of Radical Optimism, with shows scheduled in Berlin, Pula, and Nimes in June. Additionally, she will make her Pyramid Stage debut as the Friday night headliner at this year’s Glastonbury Festival on June 28th.
As we anticipate more news regarding the likelihood of an Asia tour for Radical Optimism, feel free to revisit Lipa’s psychedelic-pop record below:
