Ben&Ben and Jose Mari Chan join us in our second episode of Billboard Philippines Scenes, the show where we take you to the different people, places, and communities that make up Filipino music.
Earlier this year, the two acts teamed up to create UNIQLO Christmas jingle titled “Find Joy In The Everyday,” a song that highlights how the holiday cheer is found in the seemingly mundane moments of life.

“It really is a season of thanksgiving,” shares Ben&Ben violinist Keifer Cabugao. Chan continues, saying, “To me, Christmas is when family comes together.”
“And in the context of UNIQLO and what we’re doing now, it’s about finding joy in the everyday,” guitarist Poch Barretto emphasizes.
The venue featured different booths and stalls for audiences to check before the concert kicked off. Among these booths was a display of UNIQLO LifeWear pieces, personally curated by the band and Chan, that serve as perfect gifts for family members this Christmas season.
When asking the artists what their personal favorites are from their collection, keyboardist Pat Lasaten was quick to answer, saying, “Dibs! AIRism.”
Lasaten, Cabugao, and percussionist Andrew de Pano all gushed about the AIRism line, with de Pano cheekily saying that AIRism underwear is his favorite.
“It’s true though!” Lasaten replies, with Cabugao adding, “I have them!”

Later that night, the two acts came together for the UNIQLO tree lighting ceremony, where they didn’t just perform their jingle, but also some of their biggest hits. The jam-packed crowd sang their hearts out to Chan’s “Christmas In Our Hearts” and Ben&Ben’s “Paninindigan Kita” (I’ll Fight For You), leading the crowd to chant for an encore.
The night capped off with the artists greeting the crowd a happy holidays, while the UNIQLO Christmas tree continued to light up the venue with its glow.
