BIGBANG To Mark 20th Anniversary With Upcoming Single “Biiig”

South Korean boy group BIGBANG are celebrating their 20th anniversary with the release of their highly-anticipated comeback single, “Biiig.”
Sparking anticipation among their fandom, VIP, BIGBANG announced the digital single on August 9, 2026 through their official social media platforms. The group shared concept photos of members G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, and DAESUNG, set against a black backdrop with glowing neon blue, yellow, and red pillars.
Serving as their first new music in more than four years, “Biiig” is scheduled to arrive on August 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM PHT. The release follows their previous single “Still Life” which came out in April 2022.
The members previously reunited for a collaboration, with TAEYANG and DAESUNG appearing on G-DRAGON’s 2025 album Übermensch through the track “HOME SWEET HOME.”
Formed under YG Entertainment, BIGBANG debuted in 2006 and originally consisted of five members. SEUNGRI and T.O.P. later departed the group in 2019 and 2023 respectively. Dubbed as the Kings of K-Pop, BIGBANG are best known for their hits “BANG BANG BANG,” “Fantastic Baby,” and “Haru Haru.”
Beyond the single, the trio are preparing for their 20th anniversary world tour, XX : COSMOS, which opens in Goyang, South Korea on August 21, 22, and 23, 2026.
The tour will continue across the United States, Europe, and Asia, including a Manila stop on February 20, 2027 at the SMDC Festival Grounds. The scheduled show marks the group’s return to the Philippines after more than a decade.
