Taylor Swift Announces Deluxe Edition Of ‘The Life of a Showgirl’
The deluxe release expands the original album with four additional songs, including “Patient Zero.”

Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl era continues with the announcement of an expanded deluxe edition.
Announced on September 24, 2026 (PH time), The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore features four bonus tracks from the original tracklist of Swift’s 12th album, which was released last year. It will arrive this Friday, September 25.
“About a year ago, you guys did a truly unfathomable thing. Something that completely blew my mind… You gave The Life of a Showgirl the biggest first week for an album in history. I took a trip to Sweden to celebrate with Max and Shellback, my two collaborators on this album,” she says in her announcement on Instagram.
“Really we just wanted to reflect and take in how grateful we were for the moment we were in, but there was a studio there and we did what we do when we feel anything at all: We wrote more songs. I hope you love them, because they were born out of pure gratitude for your exuberance for and celebration of the album we made,” she adds.
A day before the announcement, Swift announced the single “Patient Zero,” which had not yet been revealed to be part of the additional tracks for Showgirl.

In October 2025, The Life of a Showgirl dominated the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart dated October 18.
The lead single, “The Fate of Ophelia,” took the No. 1 spot that week, while “Opalite” came in at No. 2. “Elizabeth Taylor” ranked at No. 4, followed by “Father Figure” at No. 5, “Wi$h Li$t” at No. 6, “Wood” at No. 7, and “Eldest Daughter” at No. 8. The title track, featuring Sabrina Carpenter, rounded out the top 10 at No. 9.
The remaining tracks, “Ruin the Friendship,” “Actually Romantic,” “CANCELLED!,” and “Honey,” also placed in the top 20.
