K-pop veterans BIGBANG have announced that the group will be adding Manila to the cities they will perform in for their BIGBANG 2026-2027 World Tour (also dubbed their “XX : COSMOS” world tour). The boy group is scheduled to perform in the Philippines on February 20, 2027 at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City.
The announcement of the addition of the Manila stop was made in a post by YG Entertainment’s social media pages.
Dubbed the “Kings of K-pop,” BIGBANG — composed of Taeyang, G-Dragon, and Daesung — were among the key players that contributed to the Korean wave that launched K-pop into global popularity. Formed by YG Entertainment in 2006, the group was initially composed of five members before Seungri left in 2019 and T.O.P in 2023.
In their two-decade run, BIGBANG have produced hits like “BANG BANG BANG” and “Fantastic Baby,” which have garnered over half a billion stream combined.
Recently, the group made a comeback at Coachella 2026 in April, where the boy band made their official appearance as a three-member group and also where the upcoming world tour was first teased by G-Dragon.
In celebration of their 20th anniversary, YG Entertainment’s former CEO Yang Hyun Suk officially announced the group’s 2026-2027 World Tour. This will mark their third major global tour and their first in almost ten years. It will also be their first tour with their three-member lineup. The tour will begin on August 21, 2026 and will conclude on February 28, 2027.
Ticket details for their Manila concert are yet to be shown on the official YG website.
