Last Easter Sunday (April 4, 2025), THUGSTA teamed up with O SIDE MAFIA’s Madman Stan to drop the pair’s latest single, “Brand New.” As one of growing local hip-hop label Cheke’s latest projects, the song was engineered by fellow O SIDE MAFIA member Costa Cashman. Additionally, the pair came out with an accompanying music video for the single, perfectly matching the fierce track with equally electric visuals, with sharp editing and heavy contrast.

In an official press release, the song was described to be “fueled by gritty bars, bass-heavy production from 80CA$H, and a no-holds-barred delivery.” They add, “The track paints a vivid picture of street loyalty, ambition, and raw confidence. With verses that flex dominance and unity, it’s an unapologetic ride through the mindset of the O Side Gang.”
In related news, O SIDE MAFIA is set to embark on a Canada tour with fellow local hip-hop wavemakers, Al James and Because.
