This week, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars‘ “Die With A Smile” has claimed the No. 2 spot on Billboard Philippines‘ Hot 100 chart.
On the Billboard Philippines Hot 100, dated September 7, 2024, the viral track between the two American pop hitmakers has officially taken the No. 2 spot on the chart following its debut on the chart at No. 6 last week – the week of August 31. The single came out just last August 16, following months of teasing from Gaga and Mars. After its release, the song quickly caught on with listeners, especially in the Philippines, helping it gain notable traction on various social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
Alongside “Die With A Smile,” two other songs from Bruno Mars also occupy spots on the Hot 100 this week — namely, “That’s What I Like” at No. 62 and “When I Was Your Man” at No. 99.
For the rest of the Hot 100’s top 10 this week, Sabrina Carpenter occupies the most spots with “Please Please Please” at No. 5, “Espresso” at No. 7, as well as a new entry into the chart in the form of “Taste” at No. 10.
Dionela and Jay R’s “sining” continues its reign over the Hot 100 at No. 1 for the sixth week in a row. Meanwhile, Maki‘s “Dilaw” occupies the No. 3 spot, followed by Billie Eilish with “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” at No. 4. In addition, TJ Monterde‘s “Palagi” ranks up to No. 6 this week while BINI’s “Salamin, Salamin” at No. 8 and Chappell Roan‘s “Good Luck Babe” at No. 9 rounding off the rest of the Hot 100’s top 10.
