Rookie P-pop girl group OONA. have officially joined ABS-CBN‘s Star Music, becoming the newest addition to the record label’s growing roster of homegrown P-pop artists.

The announcement arrived during the five-member act’s Unang Tingin: The Debut Launch held on July 31, 2026 at Matrix Creation Events Venue in Quezon City, where members Isaki, Coleen, Jaylou, Kari, and Bella were formally welcomed by ABS-CBN Music Head Roxy Liquigan, ABS-CBN Head of Content, Creatives, and Operations Jonathan Manalo, and Star Music label head Andie Arellano.

With the surprise signing, OONA. join an expanding lineup of P-pop acts under ABS-CBN Music which includes P-pop phenomenon BINI as well as BGYO, WRIVE, Yes My Love, AJAA, 1621, DNA, Baby Dolls, and AZTER. The rising girl group will now be managed by Star Music, Aguila Entertainment, and Islah Entertainment as they continue building their presence in the local music scene.

During the media launch, ABS-CBN Music executives expressed their confidence in the group’s potential and shared their excitement in supporting OONA.’s artistic journey. “Their hard work and dedication make them a great addition to our P-pop roster. We look forward to supporting their journey as they build their career in the industry,” says Liquigan.

The debut launch also gave fans a glimpse of the five-member group’s musical identity as they perform their newest single, “Unang Tingin,” for the very first time. The fierce pop track explores the idea that first impressions do not always reveal a person’s true self, encouraging listeners to embrace their individuality.

Before officially joining Star Music, OONA. had already begun making a name for themselves through the release of their self-written track, “DARAMA.”

Composed of familiar faces within the local entertainment industry, Isaki and Coleen previously built dedicated fanbases as former members of MNL48, while Jaylou gained popularity on TikTok through her dance covers and lifestyle content. Coming in fresh in the game are Bella and Kari to complete OONA.’s lineup.
