Blackpink member Lisa has announced that she will be joining RCA Records.

The move comes in partnership with her artist management company, LLOUD. In a press statement published by RCA Records,, Lisa shared, “I’m super excited to be joining the RCA family and I am confident they are the best team to create a bigger movement in my solo career. Looking forward to showing the world everything we have been preparing.”

RCA chairman & CEO Peter Edge as well as COO John Fleckenstein then added, “We are incredibly proud to partner with Lisa and Lloud Co.! Lisa is a multidimensional talent and an irrefutable global force. We are thrilled to welcome her and her team to the RCA Records family.”

Lisa will retain full ownership over her recordings and is set to release new music for her solo project under the label. According to a press statement, LLOUD was founded by the Blackpink member earlier this year “in an effort to create a platform to showcase her overall vision in music and entertainment that pushes boundaries.”

The two parties also shared a link for updates on their next steps, although further updates have yet to be disclosed. Watch this space for more updates.

Lisa is the third member of Blackpink to announce the creation of their own management company. In December of last year, Jennie announced the creation of OA (Odd Atelier) while most recently, Jisoo started her own company, BLISSOO. Despite these movements, the group will still perform as Blackpink under YG Entertainment, following the renewal of their contracts with YG Entertainment last year.

Yang Hyun Suk, YG Entertainment’s executive producer, shared then, “We are happy to be able to continue our relationship with BLACKPINK. BLACKPINK will continue to do their best to shine even brighter in the global music market as artists representing not only our agency but also K-pop, and we send our unwavering support and faith for their future steps.”
