The Nation’s Girl Group BINI has joined the red carpet of the first-ever Filipino Music Awards, held on October 21 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

In an interview with Billboard Philippines, the P-pop group opened up about being in the same space as all the other amazing artists in the world of OPM.”Looking forward po kami sa mga performances ng mga amazing Filipino artists na nandito tonight. Talagang, we’re here not just for the award, we’re all winning in life,” says Stacey.

“And of course, to feel the crowd’s energy and makasama natin yung iba pang (to be with the other) amazing artists,” adds Gwen.

“We are extremely honored right now, kasi we are in the same space, in the same air that we’re breathing with the icons of music. Being here, parang it’s not just for us kasi parang tinataguyod namin yung team namin (because it seems like we’re helping move the team forward), and our music, and our craft as well. We’re so happy to be here,” shares Aiah.

The first-ever Filipino Music Awards brings together the OPM industry’s biggest artists and influential figures, honoring their contributions to the wider industry at large, presenting a total 20 honors across five major categories and is organized by Modern Media Group Inc. — home to renowned global titles such as Billboard Philippines, Rolling Stone Philippines, Nylon Manila, and Robb Report Philippines — and produced by AGC Power Holdings Corp.
