From being the first K-pop group to stage a show at the Philippine Arena (on December 17, 2022) to bringing their performance to the Philippine Sports Stadium not just once but twice, SEVENTEEN arrived to show their power, not just in selling out tickets, but also in how their performances leave the audience wanting more. Even for repeat attendees, the excitement of attending a SEVENTEEN show never diminishes; it feels like the first time seeing them live in the flesh again, always. This is a testament to them being, indubitably, one of the best performers of their generation.

On the day their comeback concert was announced, the anticipation was stronger than ever. This is proof of how SEVENTEEN and CARATs (their fanbase) show no signs of stopping in making core memories together. It was the same month in 2024 when the band held a two-night sold-out ‘FOLLOW’ show at the Philippine Sports Stadium. A year later, SEVENTEEN returned to the same venue to showcase another set of groundbreaking performances, demonstrating their consistent popularity.

Composed of S.COUPS, JEONGHAN, JOSHUA, JUN, HOSHI, WONWOO, WOOZI, THE 8, MINGYU, DK, SEUNGKWAN, VERNON, and DINO, SEVENTEEN have been known for their tight-knit bond — a family, fostering a sense of home among the members and their fans alike. Debuting in 2015, the 13-piece act has put out quality releases since then, including such hits as “VERY NICE,” “Don’t Wanna Cry,” “Clap,” and their recent single “LOVE, MONEY, FAME” (Feat. DJ Khaled), among others. Not only are they great performers, but SEVENTEEN have also solidified their title as self-produced artists.

With the band’s nonpareil charisma on stage, SEVENTEEN continue to sell out shows left and right even in their tenth year together, proving their global appeal. The band kicked off 2025 with a two-night full-house ‘RIGHT HERE’ show at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan on January 18 and 19 — their first solo concerts of the year.

As the band’s music videos flashed on the large screens, the audience particularly erupted in screams whenever members appeared. This was especially true for JEONGHAN and JUN, who were not able to participate due to military enlistment and acting commitments in China respectively. A few minutes before the clock ticked 6:30 PM, fans settled into their respective seats and areas, cheering their hearts out even before the boys came onstage.

The stage dramatically transformed as the screens turned red, revealing WONWOO, VERNON, and HOSHI ascending on a rising platform. The concert ignited with WONWOO’s powerful vocals as he opened with the first line of “Fear,” “넌 내 기억을 지워야 돼 I’m poison / I know I can’t take it no more,” eliciting cheers from the crowd. Decked out in black, the trio descended to their designated positions, joining the rest of the members behind a striking red backdrop arranged in a pyramid formation. Their silhouettes themselves screamed aura and power.

Followed by it were their riveting performances of “Fearless” and “MAESTRO” backed by a live band. SEVENTEEN hit the right notes and moves while dramatic flame effects ignited every beat, elevating the show to the next level with such visual spectacles. Fireworks erupted alongside the flames as “Fearless” played. Accompanied by a team of dancers clad in red, SEVENTEEN completely owned the stage.

“Your energy is so incredible,” said THE 8 during the concert’s first talk segment. This whole segment was spent with the members showering CARATs with praises. DK added, “Long time no see. We missed you so much. You missed us too, right? Thank you to those who came. This is our first concert in 2025, so we’ll do our best.” WONWOO also expressed how happy and blessed he was as their first show of the year was in the Philippines.

Thrilling the crowd, BSS (SEVENTEEN’s sub-unit composed of DK, HOSHI, and SEUNGKWAN) performed the chorus of their new track “CBZ (Prime Time)” for the first time live at a concert during the segment.

The second part of the night featured their performances of the synth-pop/hip-hop track “ASH” and the 808-driven fan-favorite “CRUSH.” It was during this part that the members got closer to fans performing on the extended stage.

Before returning to the main stage, a video featured the boys’ camaraderie. In a journey where the “endless days feel like a long tunnel,” SEVENTEEN is one in every chapter unraveling in their career. A poignant message displayed on the screen read: “After the depths of night, in the dawn’s embrace, another morning unfolds.”

The show continued with captivating unit performances, featuring the hip-hop unit. Decked in chic silver-toned fits, S.COUPS, WONWOO, MINGYU, and VERNON delivered sizzling performances of dynamic tracks “Water” and “MONSTER.”

Next, the performance unit (HOSHI, JUN, THE 8, and DINO) took the stage, performing the funky tune “Rain” and the fun, melodic “Lilili Yabbay.” Clad in stylish black ensembles, the trio flawlessly executed sleek and edgy dance moves, making them appear effortless.

Dressed in princely outfits, the vocal team (WOOZI, JEONGHAN, JOSHUA, DK, and SEUNGKWAN) seemed to come out of a castle to serenade the whole crowd with their mesmerizing vocal prowess. The members transformed the atmosphere into a more light and breezy mood, singing soothing tracks “Candy” and “Cheers to youth.”

The light atmosphere continued as SEVENTEEN made a playful entrance through a door as if stepping into a world filled with fun. Before launching into their performance of the funk-infused “Oh My!”, the members playfully interacted with the props, spending a minute engaging in a game of badminton and basketball. This showcased how the stage truly becomes their playground when performing.

The fourth part of the show was pure fun and entertainment as SEVENTEEN playfully interacted with animal-costumed performers in a jungle-themed setting, even engaging in a brief dance battle. The stage then transformed into a beach setting for the playful “Snap Shoot,” followed by an energetic and uplifting performance of “God of Music,” featuring the iconic “Kung chi pak chi” sung in unison with the audience. The joyous mood continued with a lively performance of the fan-favorite “Ima -Even if the world ends tomorrow-,” celebrating the moment and encouraging listeners to live without regrets.

During the second talk segment, the members continued praising the crowd’s energy. This even fueled the boys to present lively stages. From DINO demonstrating his groovy moves to VERNON doing cute little dances and S.COUPS swaying his hips, this proves how the show felt home for both the artists and fans.

SEVENTEEN then performed the soulful R&B-influenced track “HOME,” singing one of the lines, “‘Cause I’m your home home home home” in perfect harmony with CARATs. The boys then took the stage with their most recent laid-back single, “LOVE, MONEY, FAME” (Feat. DJ Khaled), displaying a fun stage.

Reaching the show’s climax, the band continued the night’s hype with electrifying performances of the power-rock song “MARCH” and jersey club track “Super,” ending the run with stunning fireworks and flames in sync with the beats.

The night didn’t end without “CARAT TIME,” a segment in which SEVENTEEN songs were played with lyrics on the screens for the fans to sing along. This was followed by the group’s performances of “Adore U,” “‘bout you,” and “Campfire,” which lightened the mood and gave melodic feels.

The venue erupted in a sea of orange as fans enthusiastically celebrated SEUNGKWAN’s recent 27th birthday. “I’m so happy because a lot of Filipino CARATs are greeting me for my birthday. We will make you happy this 2025 as well,” he expressed.

Reflecting on the unforgettable moments created, WOOZI shared, “We’ve always had such good memories in the Philippines. We’re always touched by your big, passionate energy. Thank you so much.” MINGYU added, “I’m happy we were able to meet again,” while DINO expressed his gratitude by saying, “Thank you for the opportunity to perform at this venue.”

S.COUPS, the leader, shared his heartfelt words, “First of all, I’m thankful to be here with everyone. I’m so happy to be an artist who can fill a venue like this as we approach our tenth year. Although we are not thirteen right now, I hope we can come back here as thirteen again. We’ll try to come see you often wherever we get the chance, so please continue to show us love and support. I love you.”

The encore section of the show was filled with multiple plays of the funky song “VERY NICE,” a mandatory “never-ending” track to cap off every SEVENTEEN show, getting everyone at the venue jumping along. While the fans poured their hearts into cheering the boys on, SEVENTEEN reciprocated with their own unwavering energy and unparalleled performances on stage, leaving everyone at the concert heading home with cherished memories that they will hold onto until SEVENTEEN returns as thirteen.
