Following their visit to the Philippines last December for the 2023 Asia Artist Awards, Korean boy band ZEROBASEONE is set to bring their first worldwide tour, aptly titled ‘THE FIRST TOUR’, here to Manila.
The nine-member group announced that they will be including Manila as part of the Asia leg of their tour, with the highly-anticipated show scheduled to happen this October 12, 2024 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Their forthcoming show in the Philippines will follow after their three-night kick-off show in Seoul Korea (September 20-22), their Singapore stadium showcase (September 28), and their Bangkok performance (October 5). Following the Manila stop of the tour, the band will be moving on to Jakarta (October 26), Macau (November 2 and 3), Aichi (November 29 – December 1), and Kanagawa (December 4-5).
Under WakeOne Entertainment, ZEROBASEONE first debuted last July 2023 following their appearance in Mnet’s reality competition program Boys Planet. Just recently, the boy band dropped their latest single “SWEAT” last April 24, 2024, which comes after their debut extended play, Youth in the Shade, was released to commercial acclaim –– selling over one million copies on its first day of release according to Korea’s Hanteo Chart. According to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI)’s Global Music Report for 2023, Youth in the Shade was the eighteenth most-consumed album across all formats, and the eleventh best-selling album worldwide, selling 2.2 million units in total.
