Indie folk-pop band The Ridleys is making their musical comeback this February with the release of their upcoming single “Be With You”.
The 4-piece group made the official announcement on their social media platforms on February 1 (Thursday), teasing their fans with a lyrical snippet and the release of the single’s cover art, alongside its release date of February 16, 2024 (Friday). Showcasing snippets of the track from a series of short-form mini vlogs on their Instagram, their audience was already clued into the fact that new music from the group was already on the way.

This forthcoming track also marks the group’s first release via Underdog Music, after years of putting out music independently. Be With You follows the release of their mini-album Until I Reach The Sun Vol. 2 last 2023, which served as the direct follow-up to 2022’s Until I Reach The Sun Vol. 1. The group rose to prominence with their debut EP from 2016, Aphrodite, and gained more popularity with their 2019 album Reflections on Moonlight & Poetry.
Just last November, The Ridleys celebrated their seventh anniversary together as a band with a special gig held at 123 Block, Mandala Park, Mandaluyong. The band will be making their return to the venue this March 2024, as they will be playing alongside Any Name’s Okay, Over October, Ang Bandang Shirley, Syd Hartha, and Kindred for SYQL Productions‘ third iteration of their “One More Song” event.
