BLACKPINK‘s ROSÉ and Bruno Mars have fans buzzing with excitement after sharing a series of playful Instagram posts —  teasing a possible collaboration.

ROSÉ shared a polaroid photograph of her and Mars to her Instagram account, cheekily captioning it: “the night I taught Bruno how to play a Korean drinking game.” The post itself caught Mars’ attention, leading him to comment, “So much fun! Remember when you tried to kiss me? That was weird. Other than that, sick pic!” — with the K-pop idol cheekily responding in a now-deleted comment: “I’m gonna kill u. take that back or I’m not releasing the song Bruno,” together with a rolled eyes emoji.

Mars himself also posted a black-and-white photo with ROSÉ, humorously detailing his experience with the drinking game. “I was hanging on for dear life,” he wrote, revealing he got a bit “saucy” during the game. He added, “Soon after, she tried to kiss me, and I was like, ‘Woah Rosie! What part of the game is this?’ She shot back, ‘I ain’t playin’ games with you anymore, lil boy! Big Rosie bout that BIDNESS!’ Shaken, I replied, ‘Stop Rosie, I’m scared!’ But other than that, super chill night.”

While there’s no official announcement yet regarding a musical collaboration, the playful exchanges between the two superstars have fueled speculation online. It was only recently wherein ROSÉ signed on to Atlantic Records — which is home to Mars as well as other popular musicians like Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, and Charli XCX.

Just a few weeks back, the BLACKPINK member announced her highly anticipated debut solo album, rosie, which is scheduled to drop on December 6, 2024. “I have poured my blood and tears into this album. I cannot wait for you to listen to this little journal of mine,” she shared as part of its announcement. Adding to the hype, she also launched a new “finsta” account, @vampirehollie, promising exclusive updates on her solo music endeavors. Amidst its cryptic posts, fans have noted the account has started dropping hints about something big coming on November 1 of this year.

In related news, fellow BLACKPINK member JENNIE just recently released her latest solo single “Mantra,” marking her first release under ODDATELIER and Columbia Records. LISA also shared her latest track, “Moonlit Floor,” two weeks back, which follows after the smashing set of releases: “New Woman” featuring Rosaliá and “ROCKSTAR.”
