Robyn Makes Her Music Comeback With New Single “Dopamine”
This marks the “Dancing On My Own” singer’s first single in seven years.

Swedish pop star Robyn is officially back with her solo music. After a nearly seven‑year hiatus, she has announced the new single “Dopamine,” set to drop on November 12, 2025.
It follows her last studio album, the critically acclaimed Honey, released in 2018. However, she hasn’t fully stepped away from music since then, collaborating with various artists, including SG Lewis and Jamie xx. Notably, she worked with Yung Lean on the remix of Charli XCX’s “360,” which appeared on Charli’s remix album Brat and It’s Completely Different but Also Still Brat.
Robyn first teased her new era with a signup link to her mailing list and an Instagram story captioned, “Keep your eyes open…” On Instagram, the singer confirmed the announcement of the upcoming single with the caption, “Dopamine. November 12.”
This may be new information to many, but it was first confirmed that the “Dancing On My Own” singer is back in the studio. Her longtime collaborator, Klas Åhlund, stopped by the Nordmark Pod podcast and announced that he had just finished a new Robyn album, which is on the horizon.
Last month, Robyn teased her new music at Paris Fashion Week during Acne Studios‘ SS26 womenswear runway show at Collège des Bernardins. As a close friend of the fashion house’s co-founder, Jonny Johansson, she also collaborated with Patrik Berger on the show’s soundtrack.
