2024 Philippine K-Con Paints Manila With The Vibrant Colors Of The Hallyu Wave

Ringing in the year for fans of all things K-Culture, the end of 2024 saw the largest and longest-running K-PopK-PopA genre of South Korean popular music known for polished production, intricate choreography, and elaborate visuals, built around trainee systems and global fandoms. K-pop has a huge following in theGo to K-Pop Glossary fan gathering in the Philippines.
Last December 29, the annual Philippine K-Pop Convention was hosted at the Space in One Ayala, Makati City. For all its visitors and attendees, it was a jam-packed day of music, dance, and all things HallyuHallyuThe global spread of Korean popular culture, including music, dramas, and fashion, which has especially strong reach in Southeast Asia. Hallyu has shaped Filipino fan communities and the local industry,Go to Hallyu Glossary. Bringing in their vibrant performances to decorate the event with a P-Pop flair were up-and-coming artists; KAIA, New:ID, 6ENSE, 1st.One, BILIB, and pix!e. Pairing with their performances, as well, was a meet-and-greet event where fans got to take photos with their favorite P-Pop idols and biases.
In an official press release, the 12th K-PopK-PopA genre of South Korean popular music known for polished production, intricate choreography, and elaborate visuals, built around trainee systems and global fandoms. K-pop has a huge following in theGo to K-Pop Glossary Convention President, Jay Juan, shared his anticipation for the event, “We’re excited to bring together K-Pop fans from all over the country again to celebrate their shared love for K-Pop.”
The convention was home to many booths for numerous K-PopK-PopA genre of South Korean popular music known for polished production, intricate choreography, and elaborate visuals, built around trainee systems and global fandoms. K-pop has a huge following in theGo to K-Pop Glossary fan clubs, as well as artists selling one-of-a-kind merchandise and memorabilia. Exciting contests, as well, were held for best K-Pop Kosplay, K-Pop Dance Battle, K-Pop Singing Star, and K-Pop Idol Look-alike where one could win prizes ranging from cash to LG XBOOM Speakers, and CNA Gift Passes.
Using this platform as a means of giving back, as well, proceeds from the 2024 Philippine K-Con were donated to its partner charities, the Philippine Animal Welfare Society and The Hapag Movement.
