Ely Buendia and Chito Miranda are gearing up to perform their iconic hits at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on August 30, 2026.

Buendia made the announcement in a social media post, which featured the Eraserheads frontman and Chito Miranda (the Parokya ni Edgar frontman) side by side. The event is set to feature both OPM legends with their own solo bands, delivering separate live sets that showcase their individual musical styles.

Although most known as the frontman of the iconic Filipino band Eraserheads, Ely Buendia also released two solo albums, with his most recent being Method Adaptor, released in 2024. Also well-known for his leading role, this time for the veteran comic rockers Parokya ni Edgar, Chito Miranda has also released projects outside of the band.

Both icons defined the alternative OPM rock scene in the ’90s. Together, they will be bringing hits from their respective bands as well as songs from their other projects, making their upcoming Dubai performance something to look forward to for OPM enthusiasts.
