Australia-based singer-songwriter Kim Trinidad is gearing up to release her first full-length solo release entitled Blinders, which will be commemorated with an online listening party on March 12, at 7 PM through her official YouTube channel. The upcoming album will be officially released on streaming platforms on March 14, and can be pre-saved here.

This follows her pre-release singles that were debuted earlier in 2024, “Tattooed Girl,” “Cigarettes,” and most recently, “Stay With Me Tonight.”

In an official press release, the singer-songwriter detailed, “This is actually a 10 year old album. Back in 2015, I made Blinders as a love letter to someone. Every song on it revolves around that person—the obsession, the glorification, the idea of perfection in someone.” While the songs that make up the album were written a decade ago, they remain highly relatable to this day, a mark of Trinidad’s songwriting prowess. “Maybe now, they can find a home in other people’s stories,” she added.

Trinidad is also best-known for her work as the lead vocalist and guitarist the Cebu indie sensation, Loop, responsible for hits like “Lite,” “42,” and more.
